Protana Station (Evasive Maneuvers)

The first map for Evasive Maneuvers, the core layout was created years ago for the Global Game Jam iteration of the project. Over the development of the full product the map was evolved, refined, and eventually was used a the proof of style for the rest of the project.

"Protana Station is an abandoned manufacturing space station in the Protana nebula, a chaotic and dangerous celestial body. Large, spikey, rock like structures float around, weaved with labyrinthian tunnels and crevasses. A hazard when it was operational, but more so now that it's been left for over 2 decades. Housed there however, is a key part of the gateway network, important to a faction on the edge of galactic society. Those that went to investigate the gate couldn't have known that a routine patrol stop by the Hunters, and an unforeseen accident, would spark the fires of war."
